Visit Phoenix is seeking a President & CEO who is a visionary leader, skilled relationship builder, and an expert nonprofit manager. This servant leader will convene diverse members, stakeholders and community partners invested in delivering an exciting, economically vibrant, destination and travel experience. Through sound management and effective collaboration, the President & CEO will enhance and ensure Visit Phoenix’s brand as well as promotion of the destination. The President & CEO will be a sales and marketing leader who recognizes and promotes the strength of an authentic, international destination with a rich heritage, deep history, and culture. S/he will have the ability to showcase Phoenix as the heartbeat of the state and region.

The President & CEO leads a committed and high-energy team currently consisting of over 50 professionals and is responsible for an annual budget of $16M. The President & CEO will deliver on goals, strategic plans, and direction established in concert with the Board of Directors. S/he will serve as the Visit Phoenix spokesperson and active leader in the tourism industry. The President & CEO will demonstrate the diversity of the Phoenix meeting experience defined by desert beauty and urban sophistication, welcoming for all.
